School Sport Houses
Sports houses play a crucial role in promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and a sense of belonging in our Ht. Hagen International community. They provide a platform for our students to engage in various sporting events and activities, fostering camaraderie, school spirit, and a strong sense of identity.
Sports is held every Fridays. Students participate in their house colour teams. Student sports captains take lead in organizing games for Sports on Fridays.
Our School Sports Houses are:
· Red House – Tarangau (the eagle a symbol of strength & courage)
· Yellow House – Kumul (an iconic bird with beautiful feathers and is the national emblem of PNG)
· Blue House – Kokomo (an iconic bird with a powerful beak & load cries)
· Green House – Mighty Muruk (an Iconic bird that is fierce & fast on land)
Through friendly rivalries and house competitions, students learn the value of collaboration, discipline, and determination, creating a vibrant and inclusive sports culture within our private school.
